G� <br />March 1/4, 1986 <br />The Planning Commission <br />City of Orono <br />Box 66 <br />Crystal Bay, Minnesota 55323 <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />We are responding to the notice we recently received concerning the Public Hearing <br />regarding the subdivision of Duane Hall's property. We live directly north of <br />Mr. Hall at 1856 Shadywood Road, and feel compelled to add our objection, along <br />with those of our neighbor's, to his proposal. <br />We object to Mr. Hall's proposal for the following reasons: <br />1. We are already aware of the Commission's feelings about overcrowding on <br />Crystal Bay - why add another building to an already populated aiea you are <br />trying so hard to keep within bounds of certain standards? <br />2. We also object to building on a lot that may already be substandard in <br />area, lake frontage and road frontage. <br />3. We, too, have experienced the high h lding code standard's of the Orono <br />Planning Commission when we appearec fore you six years ago. We can <br />only hope that the wisdom of the Commission will he consistent with its <br />past actions. <br />4. Also, giving in to Duane Hall's proposal would only encourage others to <br />seek variances that would be in direct conflict with what the Commisssion <br />wishes to see for the area, and for what the people wish to see for the <br />area. <br />We request that of Orono Planning Commission disapprove of Mr. Hall's request. <br />Respectfully, <br />M <br />Seifert, Jr. <br />Dorianne E.
