City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 2162 <br />7. Septic facilities and water supply may be portable, until such <br />time that on -site septic and water facilities can be furnished, <br />subject to the review and approval of the Orono staff. Garbage <br />collection shall be provided on a regular basis. <br />8. Applicant to maintain insurance coverage. <br />9. Materials not able to be burned will be stored in an area appi.^ved <br />by the Orono staff until "ice in", at which time the debris will be <br />hauled off the island. The Orono staff shall be advised if applicant <br />plans to use a barge for removal of debris during the summer months as <br />stability of ice this past winter prevented removal by trucks. <br />10. Applicant to provide a list of perso.is with authority for this <br />year's cleanup program providing addresses and telephone numbers. <br />11. The fire inspector will require 48 hour notice prior to <br />inspection of a burn site. A permanent burn site should be selected <br />for burning of brush and other approved materials. such site to be <br />approved by the fire inspector. The burn of such materials at a <br />permanent approved burn site will not require an inspection but will <br />require a burning permit. The fire inspector shall review methods of <br />fire control/protection prior to controlled burns in 19' <br />12. Applicant to obtain appropriate LMCD license for the 1987 season <br />for the use of existing docks by members of the work crew. <br />13. The work program under this permit shall !.,e limited to the <br />following activities: <br />a) razing and burning of buildings; <br />b) cleanup and burning of debris/brush. <br />c) work cove -!d under existing permits for lavatories and <br />Ballantine cabin <br />d) upgrading of existing septic facilities authorized by permit <br />to be issued by Orono staff <br />14. Any activities conducted on the property not covered by this <br />r=:rmit o: not meeting the original intent of this temporary permit <br />shalt result in the immediate termination of said permit and all <br />activities approved therein. <br />15. Violation of or non-compliance with any of the terms and condi- <br />tions of this resolution shall constitute a violation of the zoning <br />code, shall a• omatically terminate any authority granted herein, and <br />shall be puns ible as a misdemeanor. <br />16. The undersigned applicant has read, understood and hereby agrees <br />to the terms of this resolution and on behalf of himself, his heirs, <br />successors and assigns, hereby agrees to the recording of this <br />resolution in the chain of title of the property. <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />
