We inspected the extention of the well casing, which has been <br />brought to just below the floor level of the dining hall. It appears <br />that there is a pit approximately 20' deep surrounding the casing <br />extention, and the well head is now extending a 1 rast 12-18" above <br />grade and just below floor level. This is a 6 -liameter casing <br />extention, and the 20' or so section that was extended appears to have <br />been attached by the use of a 6 bolt coupling. The installation would <br />appear to meet code requirements, and we should verify that with Jim <br />Nye of the Health Department that it is allowable to fill in this pit <br />(that would be required anyhow) upon his approval.
