CITY OF ORONO <br />NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the Council Chambers <br />at 1275 South Brown Road on Monday, May 16, 1988 on the matter of <br />reviewing the following land use applications: <br />1. 11265 Minnetonka Alano Group Inc. at 2760 Fox Street seek setback <br />variances for expansion of parking lot. <br />2. 11266 Gail Livingston of 2885 Sixth Avenue North seeks a variance <br />to the required area standard for the keeping of horses on her <br />residential property. <br />3. #1268 Donald R. Peterson of 3048 North Shore Drive seeks a <br />hardcover variance within the 75 feet to 250 feet lakeshore setback <br />area for a proposed bedroom addition. <br />4. #1269 R.*chard and Jane Noland of 1395 Orono Lane seek r conditional <br />use permit to restore a second residential unit within the detached <br />gat -age on their residential property. <br />5. #1271 Rick Niccum of 2184 Shadywood Road seeks a hardcover variance <br />to permit construction of a detached garage at his lakeshore property. <br />6. #1272 Richard J. Heit of 1153 Elmwood Avenue seeks a side setback <br />an-1 hardcover variances for a second story addition and stairway to <br />serve his expanded residence. <br />7. #1273 Roilin and Sharon Lacy of 2655 North Shore Drive seek a <br />conditional use permit and variance to allow filling within 75 feet of <br />the lakeshore in order to preserve existing trees damaged by severe <br />storm of July 1987. <br />8. #1274 David J. Nelson of 740 Willow Drive South seeks a side <br />setback variance for a garage addition and deck. <br />9. 01277 The Big Island Board of Governors seeks a conditional use <br />permit to allow a limited numter of worker- to assist in the final <br />clean up and removal of all hazardous conditions at the camp site. A <br />conditional use permit will also be considered for the reopening of <br />the camp for day use recreation. <br />10. #1279 Northern Hydraulics of 2687 West Wayzata Boulevard has filed <br />an appeals application questioning the Zoning Administrator's <br />interpretation of uses permitted in the Industrial Zoning District <br />located on the south side of Hwy. 12. The applicant contends a <br />warehouse/retail use is compatible with the existing code. <br />1� 1 1 persons wishing to be heard will appear at this time. The meeting <br />starts at 7:00 PM.
