NELSON <br />740 WILLOW DRIVE SOOTS <br />VARIANCE <br />PUBLIC HEARING 9s17-9s19 <br />The Affidavit of Publication and Certificate of Mailing <br />were noted. <br />David Nelson was present for this matter. <br />Gaffron explained the request for a side setback <br />variance to construct an attached garage. He noted that <br />there is no oti,,:r feasible location for the proposed <br />garage. <br />There were no comments from the public regarding this <br />matter and the public hearing was closed. <br />It was .--ved by Bellows, seconded by Hanson, to <br />recommenu approval per staff recommendation. Motion, <br />Ayes 5, Nays 0. <br />1277 BI ISLAND BOARD OF GOVERNORS <br />RECORD 1 <br />NDI USE PERMIT <br />kJ MC <br />HEARING 9 M-9 04 <br />The Affidavit of <br />were noted. <br />Publication and Certificate of Mailing <br />Al Wisoorf and Larry Sharpe were present representing <br />the Board of Governors. <br />Mabusth explained the conditional use permit involving <br />two phases of use as follows: <br />Phase 1) Allowing of the work crews to complete the <br />final clean up and removal of all hazardous <br />conditions on the island. <br />Phase 2) Allowing the camp to open for day use <br />recreation. This phase will be brought back to <br />Planning Commission for review at their June 6th <br />meeting. <br />Mr. Wisdorf noted that a l l the L en.aining buildings have <br />been secured per the building inspector's direction. <br />Kelley ask if there were any dry wells on the property <br />that may â–ºazardous to children? <br />Mabusth noted that staff has inspected the property for <br />these types of hazards and has drafted a detailed memo <br />of directives to the Board regarding their findings. <br />Brown and Bellows asked how they planned to control the <br />number of visitors allowed at the camp at one time? <br />10 <br />
