CITY OF ORONO - NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission will hold public hearings in the Council Chambers <br />at 1275 South Brown Road on Monday, April 16, 1990 to review the following <br />land use applications: <br />1. 01508 Donald Olson of 4590 North Arm Drive seeks approval of a <br />conditional use permit and variance to keep up to 2 horses on this <br />property in the LR-lA lakeshore residential zoning district, such <br />horses to be housed in an existing structure less than the required <br />75' from the side lot line. <br />2. #1509 Farl Freeman, the owner of the property located at 4545 <br />Watertown Road, seeks approval of a variance to allow an existing <br />oversized accessory pole barn structure to remain on this property <br />with no principal structure. <br />?. 01510 Richard W. Brown of 2685 Shadywood Road seeks approval of a <br />conditonal use permit to allow construction and use of a non -rental <br />guest apartment addition to his existing residence. <br />4. 01511 The City of Orono seeks approval of setback variances and a <br />conditional use permit for construction of a pump house and pressure <br />tank within Outlot B of the proposed plat of East Willow Woods, <br />located at 2210 Wayzata Boulevard. The property in which proposed <br />Outlot B will be located is currently legally described as Outlot A, <br />Ringers Wood and Lot 2, Block 3, Ringers Wood. <br />5. 01512 Steven Puce of 4625 West Branch Road seeks approval of an <br />after -the -fact conditional use permit for land alteration to create <br />terraced gardens for the growing of flowers to be sold commercially <br />off site (no retail sales activity is proposed for the property). <br />6. #1513 Walter Krahl of 4775 North Shore Drive seeks approval of <br />hardcover and street setback variances to construct an addition to his <br />existing residence. <br />7. 01514 Ronald Miller of 270 North Willow Drive seeks approval of a <br />height variance for a proposed accessory barn structure to be moves' <br />onto the property. <br />8. #1515 Jeffrey Johnson of 3825 Cherry Avenue seeks approval of a <br />variance and conditional use permit for construction of a permanent <br />dock from his homestead property through a protected wetland area, <br />across the platted right-of-way of Cherry Avenue and across Lot 2, <br />Block 3 'Crystal Bay View" to the shore of Lake Minnetonka. <br />9. #1517 Whitney MacMillan of 1560 Fox Street seeks approval of a land <br />alteration conditional use permit for grading and filing in excess of <br />100 cubic yards to create a pond. <br />10. 01518 Big Island Board of Governors seeks approval of a conditional <br />use permit to construct 5 permanent camp cabins on the veterans' Camp <br />property con Big Island. <br />
