MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 24, 1986 <br />1986 JOINT USE DOCK LICENSES <br />A) 3155 NORTH SHORE DRIVE - <br />RHODI IEWLOW/LINDAHL <br />RESOLUTION #1930 <br />Susan Enlow and Sarah Lindahl were present for this <br />matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardsun explained the request for <br />a joint use deck license to serve the properties l::)cated <br />at 3155 North Shore Drive, 3185 North Shore Driv and <br />1406 Bohn's P )int Road. He noted that the appli ,ant's <br />may need to ( .)tain a variance from the LMCD to I ermit <br />three boats at one dock, which staff wil l direct t iem to <br />do. Motion. <br />Ayes 3, Nays ). <br />B) BIG INLAND VETERAN'S CAMP <br />RESOLUTION 11931 <br />City Administrator Bernharlson explained the reque:it for <br />a joint us dock license for the Big Island Vetcr.an's <br />Camp for a total of 14 slips. Staff recommends approval <br />of 14 temporary slips because they do not possess the <br />appropriate conditional use permit., at this time, to <br />operate a cz_mp. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Adams, seconded by <br />Couricilmember Grabek, that the City Council adopt <br />Resolution #1931 approving a a Joint Use Dock License to <br />the Board of Governers, Big Island Veteran's Camp, on a <br />transient basis contingent upon application of the <br />appropriate Conditional Use Permit being made. Motion, <br />Ayes 3, Nays 0. <br />#842 ROBERT ZIMMERMAN <br />3415 CRYSTAL BAY ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION 11932 <br />Bob Zimmerman was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhard -on explained the request for <br />a hardcover variance of 3.5%, a 2.2% increase over the <br />present 26.3% in the 75-250' zone, totaling 28.5%. He <br />noted that this was a considerable decrease from the <br />previo ,s request. <br />4 <br />
