CITY of ORONO <br /> �,,�� �C, <br /> � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> 4kESH� NO. 4 8 7 <br /> B <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES Cr. <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.25, SUBDIVISION 6 (B) <br /> FILE NO. #01-2697 <br /> ��NNbrS <br /> WHEREAS, Larry Gehl and Sharon Gehl, (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br /> owners of the property located at 1825 Concordia Street within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "the City") and is legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 8, Coffees Addition to Shady Wood Lake Minnetonka, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota <br /> (hereinafter "the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on July 16, 2001, at which times all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants applied to the City of Orono for variances to <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.25, Subdivision 6 (B) to permit an 8' east side setback for <br /> an addition of garage and living space to the existing principal building where a 15' setback <br /> is required. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: Metro Legal Services Inc. <br /> FINDINGS Box 491 <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #01-2697. <br /> 2. The property is located in the LR-1C (1/2 acre) One Family Lakeshore <br /> Residential Zoning District. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on July 16, 2001 and <br /> recommended approval on a vote of 7 to 0 for variances based upon the <br /> following findings and hardships: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
