A hardcover variance to continue <br />the wall into the Oto 75 foot zone is also requested. At the request of the Applicant consideration of <br />the variances for expansion of the cabin has been postponed because the Champlins are out of the <br />country. <br />Planning Commission Recommendation <br />On October 15, 2007, Planning Commission voted 6 to Oto recommend approval of the variances <br />related to the retaining wall. <br />Planning Staff Recommendation <br />Approval of the Variances per the attached Resolution. The entire wall is necessary to stabilize the cut <br />made to install the septic system and to create a swale to convey the runoff around the north side of the <br />cabin. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Adopt or amend the attached Resolution.
