Any barn, stable, shed other building used for <br />housing such animals shall be located not less than 150 feet from the nearest lot <br />line. The minimum lot area shall be 1.0 acre for the residence plus at least 1.0 <br />acre of open pasture, not including wetlands, for each "animal unit" (except that <br />the first horse shall require 2.0 acres of pasture). An "animal unit" means each <br />horse, donkey, burro, cow or steer; each three sheep, goats, or pigs; and 50 fowl. <br />The Council may adjust pasture requirements at its discretion. <br />PLEASE NOTE.
