The ,:ontractor applied for a permit without a survey. <br />fie was informed that a survey was required and a variance appeared likely. fie <br />returned with a variance application May 10, 197", and within an hour a subcontractor <br />had called for a footing inspection. Inspection was refused and a STOP WORK ORDER <br />was placed on the project. The excavation was already completed at that time with <br />no permit having been issued. Should the variance be approved, the building permit <br />will be subject to the double fee penalty. <br />Variances required: <br />34.352 LR-lA Zone <br />Lot Area: Required - 2 acres; existing - 28,000 sq. ft.; variance - 68' <br />Lot Width: Required - .100'; existing - 120'; variance - 40% <br />Rear Setback: Required - SO'; existing - 20'; variance - t)01 <br />Front Setback: Required - SO'; existing to property line - 651; conforming <br />existing to roadway - SO'; conforming <br />proposed to property line - 601; conforming <br />proposed to roadway - 401; variance - 201 <br />Hardships: no additional land available: travelled access road runs through this lot. <br />PI.A,'�L'vI% CCWIS.SI()N 4`117TING - May 16, 10" <br />Approved on work session because of hardships and that addition would not require <br />setback variances and because owner presented letter of approval from adjoining <br />neighbors. All neighbors will he notified by City prior to Council meeting. <br />Commission did question the functioning of the septic system. Applicant said system, <br />was working without prohlemts, but that he had no idea what kind of system it is. <br />a)(NCIL WEI-I'V , - May 23, 1977 <br />Deferred action.
