REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 10, 1986 <br />RELEASING TAX FORFEIT LOTS FOR <br />PRIVATE SALT: TO ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS <br />RESOLUTION #1917 <br />Upon staff recommendation, it was moved by Acting Mayor. <br />Adams, seconded by Councilmemher Hammerel., to adopt <br />Resolution #1917 approving the release of tax forfeited <br />land for private sale to adjacent owners (PID 17-117-23 <br />43 0026). 'Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND <br />FOR PUBLIC USE BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION #1918 <br />Upon staff <br />recommendation, it was moved by Councilmember <br />Frahm, seconded <br />by Actin.q <br />Mayor Adams, to adopt <br />Resolution <br />#191.8 <br />approving <br />the conveyance of tax <br />forfeited <br />lands for <br />public use <br />by the City of Orono (PID <br />06-117-23 <br />41 0085, <br />PID 06-117-23 41 0086, PID 20-117-23 <br />31. 0025). <br />Motion, <br />Ayes 4, Nays <br />0. <br />REQUEST 7'0 DELAY PUBLIC SALE. <br />OF TAX FORFEITED LAND <br />RESOLUTION #1919 <br />MAYOR'S REPORT <br />CABLE TV REPORT <br />Upon st.ai f recomm-_ndat ion, it was moved by Counci lmember <br />Frahm, seconded by Acting Mayor Adams, to adopt <br />Resolution #1919 approving the request to delay the <br />public sale of tax forfeit land (PID 02-117-23 31 0026). <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />There was n- Mayor's repot- at: this time. <br />City P.dministrator Bernhardson commented that Cable TV <br />is trying to form a half-hour community program of news <br />items from each of the fourteen communities and the <br />poss?bi1ity of some types of panel <br />discus sion/i.nformat ion items of interest around the <br />lake. <br />Actinq Mayor Adams noted that Mound is currently <br />tel.evisinq their council meetinq; on Cable TV. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br />City Administratci Bernhardson reviewed his memo <br />regarding the Pla,ininq Commission appointment and two <br />a ltertiat i ves to accomodate the three well qualified <br />applicants which were interviewed at. the last meet?.ng. <br />Fie stated that one alternat:ivo would be to expand the <br />Planni.n,,, Comma scion from sevrrn members to nine members. <br />lie ncted that this would possibly cause a quorum <br />
