Key Strategic Decisions <br />The final step in the strategic planning process is possibly the <br />most crucial component - identifying and forcing the resolution <br />of the key decisions which have to be made before the plan can be <br />implemented. Most of these decisions are the responsibilities of .the <br />Operating Company, but some, most notably those involv`ng major <br />capital expenditures, are dependent on corporate management approval. <br />These decision points must be explicitly identified, and it is encum- <br />bant on corporate management respond to these points in a direct <br />and timely manner. The results of these decisions can then be incor- <br />porated in the Operating Company's financial goal planning. <br />
