MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 10, 1986 <br />RELEASING TAX FORFEIT DOTS FOR <br />PRIVATE SALE TO ADJOINING PROPERTY OWNERS <br />RESOLUTION #1917 <br />Upon staff recommendation, it was moved by Acting Mayor <br />Adams, seconded by Councilmember Hammerel, to adopt <br />Resolution #1917 approving the release of tax forfeited <br />land for private sale to adjacent owners (PID 17-117-23 <br />43 0026). Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />BBQOESTING CONVEYANCE OF TAX FORFEITED LAND <br />PUBLIC USE BY THE CITY OF ORONO <br />PR�LOTION #1918 <br />Upon staff recommendation, it was moved by Councilmember <br />Frahm, seconded by Acting Mayor Adams, to adopt <br />Resolution N1.918 approving the conveyance of tax <br />forfeited lands for public use by the City of Orono (PIL <br />06-117-23 41 0085, PID 06-117-23 41 0086, PIr 20-117-23 <br />31 0025). Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />RBQlj3ST TO DELAY PUBLIC SALE <br />OF TAX. FORFEITED LAND <br />RESOLUTION #1919 <br />MAYOR'S REPORT <br />CABLE TV REPORT <br />Upon staff recommendation, it was moved by Councilmember <br />Frahm, seconded by Acting Mayor Adams, to adopt <br />Resolution #1919 approving the request to delay the <br />public sale of tax forfeit land (PID 02-117-23 31 0026). <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />There was no Mayor's report at thiF time. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson comment,d that Cable TV <br />is trying to form a half-hour c-)mmunity program of news <br />items from each of the fourteen communities and the <br />possibility of some L y p e s of panel <br />discussion/information items of interest around the <br />lake. <br />Acting Mayor Adams noted that Mound is currently <br />televising their council. meetings on Cable TV. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reviewed his memo <br />regarding the Planning Commission appointment and two <br />alternatives to accomodate the three well qualified <br />applicants which were interviewed at the last meetinq. <br />Ho stated that one alternative would he to expand the <br />Planning Commission from seven members to nine members. <br />He noted that this would possihly cause a quorum <br />2 <br />
