COUNCIL MEETING <br />Tot Mark Bernhardson, City Administrator JAN 27 1986 <br />From: John 1, Gerhardson, Public Works Coordinem OF ORONO <br />Date: January 23, 1986 <br />Subject: Emergency Repairs - Front End Loaf r <br />During the week of January 13th, during routine maintenance of <br />the Street Department's front end loader, it was iiscovered that there <br />was excess metal particals in the oil of the tr. emission. <br />The loader was transported to Case Power and Equipment in <br />Burnsville and there it was determinad that something had come loose <br />in the transmission and destroyed the torque converter and several <br />other integral parts inside the transmission. <br />It has been estimated that the cost to repair will <br />approximately $9,00. <br />The amount : repairs were n,.._ budgeted for in the 1986 budget, <br />therefore, it r,v be necessaxy to pay for the reps: fry- the <br />emergency contingency fund. <br />Mayor and City ouncil <br />FROM: Mark E.
