'folding such position in each such Department. <br />Definitions. <br />1. "Chief" means the Chief of the Fire <br />Department which has contractual jurisdiction in each respective <br />Fire Service District, or his authorized representative. <br />2. "Jurisdiction or Municipality" means the <br />City as a whole, and also that part of the City corresponding to <br />each separate Fire Service District. <br />E. Enforcement. Authority for enforcement is <br />hereby granted to and ma be exercised by any or all of the <br />following persons: <br />1. Tte Minnesota State Fire Marshal, or his <br />authorized representativ-. <br />2. Te Chief of each Fire Department, or his <br />authorized representative, within the Fire Service District of <br />said Fire Department. The Fire Chief shall retain primary <br />responsibility and autt.ority for determining response to fire <br />ralls and for fire scene command. <br />3. The Chief of the Police Department or his <br />officers. The Police Chief shall be responsible for coordinating <br />enforcement policy and activities between the respective Fire <br />Service Districts and between the Fire Chiefs •-ice the Building <br />official. <br />4. The Building Official or his authorized <br />representative. The Building Official shall be responsible fnr <br />coordinating enforcement of the Fire Code with enforcement of the <br />State Building Code and the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br />F. Fire Prevention. The Fire Chief may conduct <br />fire prevention inspection or educational programs within the <br />Fire Service District of each respective Fire Department <br />consistent with provisions of the Fire Code, provisions of the <br />applicable Fire Prevention Contract, standard practices of the <br />Fire Department and applicable provisions of the City Code. <br />Subd. 1. R'3ht of Entry.The members of the fire, <br />.___ <br />police or other Cityde �p_a_[tments_ s _ all have the right to enter <br />upon property to investigate a report of or the actual siting of <br />a fire and to take appropriate action to control an illegal fire <br />as defined in Section 9.10 or a legal fire that has been left <br />unsupervised, conducted in an unpermitted area, or which <br />otheriwse poses a threat to the public health, safety, or welfare. <br />
