Public Hearin�. .The Council shall meet on May 14, 2001, at <br /> approximately 7:00 p.m.to hold apublic hearing on:(1)the proposed establishment of Development <br /> District No. 1 and the adoption of a development program, and(2)the proposed establishment of <br /> Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-1 and the adoption of a tax increment financing plan.�These <br /> actions are taken pursuant to and in accordance with the Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.124 <br /> � through 469.134 and Sections 469.174 through 469.179, inclusive, as amended, in an effort to <br /> encourage the development of certain designated areas and the provision of housing within the City; <br /> � �d <br /> SECTION 2. Notice of Public Hearin . Filing of Documents. City staff is <br /> authorized and directed to work with Ehlers&Associates,Inc.,to prepare the Development Program <br /> for Development District No. 1 and the Tax Increment Financing Plan for Tax Increment Financing <br /> District No. 1-1 and to provide notifications as required by State Law.
