ADDITIONAL SITE EVALUATION
INPORNATION POR DAVID NITZ
ON LOT 7, BLOCK 1 PARVIEW
11-1-80
On Ootober 25, 1980 two additional percolation holes were
drilled and tested in the area of the proposed drainfield below
the house since this area has been disturbed and filled after
the last testing on November 10, 1979. These holes were tested
at 2.5 feet deep and oonsisted0mostly filled black loam which
yielded a percolation rate of 24,0 minutes per inchfor each of
the holes.
Because this is a fill.area and some of the original area
has been dug up for a tennis court, it will be necessary to
construct a mound system and also prepare a base and leave room
for a mound alternate site should .-ho need ever arise. 2 e area
available for drainfield now measures 100 feet long by 30 feet
wide. For the_5 bedroom house 625 sq.ft. of rook bed is usually
required. However, bo use of the fast percolation rate and rcr:
possible lim,•ted use of the 5th bedroom, it would be acceptable
to use a bed 50 feet long by 10 feet wide and save the other 0
set for future use rather than making the bed 62.5 feet long r.
at this time.
Two 1000 gallon tanks will be required for the house. In
addition, a pump and separate p=WIng tank or compartment in
one of the septic tanks will be needed for pressure distribu-
tion to the mound. Additional detailed design information for
the mound system follows. If any additional information is nee-
ded, please contact me.
Sincerely,
PERCOR, IN,C/.
Mark S. aronberg, P,
