For the proposed five bedroom house and the average percola- <br />tion rate of 7.2 minutes per inch the minimum drainfield trench area <br />required is 952 square feet. However, it is recommended that 1200 <br />square feet be installed. This would amount to 6 trenches of 100 <br />feet in length and 2 feet in width. These would be spaced a minimum <br />of 6.5 feet center to eenter making the total width 32.5 feet. <br />Two 1000 gallon septic tanks should to used with the system. <br />Drop boxes are preferable for distributing the effluent to the in- <br />d1vidual trenches.
