o�—pro <br />REVISED <br />METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION <br />350 METRO SQUARE BUILDING, SAINT PAUL, N-'INNESOTA 55101 <br />222-8423 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 85-376 <br />ADOPTING THE FINDINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS OF <br />THE RATE STRUCTURE TASK FORCE AND DIRECTING <br />IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF <br />WHEREAS, The Touche Ross Manaaement Study recommended that the <br />Commission's cost allocation methodology be studied for possible <br />changes; and <br />WHEREAS, The Chairman of the Commission appointed a Rate Structure <br />Task Force to carry out such a st,:dy which resulted in findings and <br />recc..,nendatioris contained in its final report of October 16, 1985; and <br />WHEREAS, The Commission recei7e6 the report and held a public infor- <br />mational meeting on the findings and recommendations on. November 1, <br />1985; and <br />W FREAS, At the public meeting there was general acceptxnce of the <br />iings and recommendations of the Task ForcF port but concern was <br />expressed about the financial effect of an immediate implementation of <br />the SAC rate due to the proposed system; and <br />v1HEREAS, The Commission has reviewed the report and the recommen- <br />dations of its staff; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Fy the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission, that it hereby adopts !-he findings and recommer,daticns of <br />I <br />he Rate Structure Task Force as embodied in its final report dated <br />October 16, 1985; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Commission adopts the concept of <br />phasing in the SAC rate due to the proposed system in order to <br />gate their financial effect; and <br />BE IT FURTHER.
