Actual Cost <br />AFTER -THE -FACT APPLICATION INVESTIGATION FEES Resol. 1306 <br />(Applies to all application types including variances, conditional use permits, <br />subdivision, zoning amendments, rip rap permits, special improvement reviews, <br />grading permits, moving permits, business licenses, kennel licenses, all <br />building permits and all general permits). <br />Whenever any work, use or division of land for which a formal application is <br />required has been commenced without first making such application and receiving <br />City approval therefore, a special investigation of the circumstances shall be <br />made during the application process. Because of the extra administrative costs <br />involved in the special investigation, the minimum application fee for after - <br />the -fact applications shall be twice the fee setforth in the basic fee schedule, <br />whether or not the application is thereafter approved or denied. Payment of an <br />after -the -fact application fee shall not constitute approval or authorization of <br />the work, use, or division of land, and shall not constitute a penalty or a waiver <br />of the right of the City to institute civil or criminal legal actions against the <br />applicant for commencing such work, use or division of land without the required <br />prior approval of the City. <br />After -the -fact Investigation ^-e Amountt Equal to and in addition to <br />the basic fee amount <br />(total fee is twice the <br />basic fee amount) <br />Page 3 of la <br />
