N46 <br />TO: Mayor and City Council vvr �i <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administratoy6t „ p <br />DATE December 18, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: LMCD/Boats at Residential Docks <br />Prior to their December 11, 1985, Board Meeting, I transmitted to <br />JoEllen Burr the Council's direction regarding the number of <br />boats at a dock ordinance. As you may be aware Orono together <br />with Wr.yzata and Excelsior did vote against passage, however, it <br />vas carried for a second reading on a 5 to 3 vote, JoEllen Burr <br />will probably be at the next Council meeting on January 13, 1986 <br />to further discuss the issue with you and give you her view <br />points on what they are attempting to do with the ordinance. <br />Additionally Frank Mixa, the Executive Director, at a phone call <br />to me indicated that he, together with the Board, welcome any <br />other approaches or recommendations to try to address the <br />problem. <br />Should you have further questions or comments, please feel free <br />to contact me. <br />
