Memo 11/14/85 with attachments, survey at,d <br />hardcover calculations <br />Exhibit <br />F <br />- Planning Commission Minutes 10/21/85 <br />Exhibit <br />G - <br />Staff Memo 10/17/85 with chronology of previous <br />action <br />Exhibit <br />H <br />- Proposed draft resolution <br />Rather than repeat information contained in the attached exhibits <br />(which are included for clarity's sake), I will attempt to briefly <br />review this application and refer you to the past memos and exhibits for <br />detail. <br />Applicant was requested to make application for a Conditional Use <br />Permit for guest house in May 1985 since he was doing some remodeling <br />work to this existing structure located about 72' from the lakeshore <br />(see survey, Exhibit A of 11/14/85 memo). <br />During staff's review of the applicati( -i, it was . :und that 1974-75 <br />variance approvals for the property (to build a home) indicated this <br />old structure was supposed to be removed when the new house was <br />finished. Appl cant subsequently provided testimony from various <br />parties that the 1974-75 minutes were incomplete, and the.t only the <br />upper floor of this structure had to be removed. Because of <br />conf licti.nq evidence, and since no neighbors object tc the continued <br />guest house use of the structure; Planning Commission at their <br />November meeting voted 6-0 to approve a Conditional Use Permit and the <br />appropriate variances subject to: <br />1. Approve conditional use permit for quest- house subject to <br />it never being rented out. <br />
