City of ORUNG) <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A METES AND BOUNDS <br />SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />FOR STEVEN J. RUCE AND SCOTT R. LUSE <br />FILE NO. 973 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter <br />"City Council") has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, <br />economic and safe development of land within the City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the aprtication for <br />a subdivision by Steven J. Ruce and Scott R. Luse (her(:inafter "the <br />subdividers") of properties legally described as follows: <br />1. Lot 1, Block 1, West Branch Hill; and <br />2. The North 208.71 feet of the East 208.71 feet of the North- <br />west quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 7, Township 117, <br />Range 23, Hennepin County; and <br />WHEREAS, the subdividers have completed all requirements of <br />the City for metes and bounds subdivision for division and combination <br />purposes, includirin granting of a quit -claim deed for right-of-way <br />purposes to Hennepin County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br />City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division of a lot <br />line rearrangement for Steven J. Ruce and Scott R. Luse as shown on <br />the Certificate of. Survey by Mark S. Gronberg dated 8/19/85 (revised <br />11/26/85) and attached to this resolution subject to the following <br />conditic.ris : <br />1. The existing shed on Parcel B shall be removed by the appli- <br />cant within 6 months of the date of approval of this resolution <br />(remove by June 9, 1986). <br />2. Upon approval of the subdivision by the City Council of <br />Orono, the owner of Parcel C as described in the Certificate of <br />Survey referenced above must apply to the City for legal <br />combination for tax purposes witr Parcel B as described in the <br />same survey. <br />3. The aforesaid division as shown on the attached Certificate <br />of Sur y shall he f i led by the City of Orono with the Eennepin <br />County Recorder's office on or before June 9, 1986 together with <br />a certified original copy of this resolution. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
