McDonald voted nay stating that the <br />city should review alternatives to removing the gas tanli. <br />4994 FRANK KOKESH <br />4100 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />PUBLIC HEARING 11:07 - 11:40 <br />Chairman Callahan explained the request for a conditional <br />use permit to permit the continued use of applicants' 35 acre <br />site for t!e boarding of horses, rental of horses ..nd <br />instruction in horse back -',tang; and a variance to permit <br />applicants' to: intinue % + keeping of domestic animals <br />for commercial purposes. <br />Attorney Lou Oberhauser was present for this matter, <br />representing the applicants. <br />Mr. 4 Mrs. Earl Dorn, 4045 Watertown Ruad, were present for <br />this matter. Mr. Dorn voiced his irritation at the <br />applicants' refusal to appear at these meetings. He stated <br />that the applicants' have committed a misdemeanor offense. <br />He noted that his main purpose of attending was that he wanted <br />the city to apply their ordinances fairly. He also advised <br />the Commission that he has requests i a copy of Scott County's <br />public stable ordinance. <br />Ms. Plank, 4145 Watertown Road, was present ant she <br />was concerned about applicants' plans for the -anal <br />property recently acquired by applicant, and what the <br />conditional use permit include,. <br />Mr. Ober ,auser stet i that the applicants have no plans to <br />expand the operation and that their request for a conditional <br />permit is to permit the existing level of use. <br />F,. Dorn stated that applicants' commercial uperation has <br />..eated 100i more traffic. <br />Kelley felt that riding lessons should be limited to family <br />members only. <br />
