The discussion resulted in a transmit and they <br />indicated that they will be transmitting some information that <br />maybe helpful in dealing with the water quantity and quality <br />aspects of run-off as they relate to lakeshore lots on a lot by <br />lot basis. We are attempting to develop something to use a more <br />emperical approach to hardcover for run-off purposes, abse,.c <br />specific aesthetic considerations, in advance of development of <br />Orono's stormwater management plan. As fez as stormwater <br />management plans are concerneC Minnehaha Creek Watershed District <br />has indicated that they will have a draft plan in the first <br />months of 1986 for revie• and hopefully that they will have a <br />plan ready for adoption n June of 1986. Based on this it is <br />anticipated that we woula be able to initiate such a study in the <br />first six months of 1986 and perh.ps actually have a doccment in <br />hand that has been reviewed and approved by the end of 1986 or <br />early 1967. As mentioned we are expecting such a plan would <br />serve a needed link between the City's Comprehensive Management <br />Plan and goals of protection of its natural resources and the <br />specific policies it has its land use plan as means to achieve <br />those goals. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S GOALS SETTING - Attached is the end of November's <br />s atus report on [Fie current goal setting. <br />GOLF COURSE - Park Commission will be meeting hopefully sometime <br />n anuary to discuss the issue regarding tLe Orono Golf Course. <br />STUBBS BAY SCHOOL - 7ohn Gerhardson is presently trying to <br />eestaaUTTifi a mutually convenient date with kathine Cram, Tim <br />Adams, John Hammerel and Barb Peterson to discuss possible <br />avenues of utilization and property ano defication for the <br />original Stubbs Bay School. <br />
