Any gainful occupation <br />meeting all Nf the following requirements when engaged in only by <br />persons re: ding in their dwelling, when there is no emplo-ed <br />assistant, when that occupation is conducted within the principal <br />structure only, when evidence of the occupation is not visible from <br />the street, no signs other than those permitted in "R" Districts <br />are present, no exci -sive stock in trade is stored ., the premises, <br />over the counter retail sales are not involved, entrance to the <br />home occupation is ga.ned from within the strixcti,re, and the use <br />does not adv ely affect the character of the uses permitted in <br />the district in which it is located. A professional person may use <br />his residence for consultation, emergency treatment or performance <br />of religious rites but not for general practice of his profession <br />when such general practice will involve the need for more than <br />three off-street parking rpzces for the occupant and visitors. <br />cECIPION 10.20, SUBDIVISION 3 P <br />F. Recreation Areas. Private gun clubs, archery <br />ranges, riding stables, ski slides, provided the area is fenced and <br />no part of the principal use is less than 100 feet from any lot <br />line. <br />SECTION 10.27, SUBDIVISION 4 A <br />K. Animals. The kec.p.ing of domestic animals for <br />non-commercial purposes including horses for the use of the <br />occupants of the premises, provided that any accessory building <br />used for housing such animals shall be located not less than 150 <br />feet from the nearest lot line. A minimum of one acre in <br />aggregate, exclusive of one acre for the principal building, must <br />be available for each animal unit, except as hereinafter set forth. <br />A minimum of two acres of open pasture must be available for a <br />single horse and one additional acre must be available for each <br />additional horse. When the horses are kept stabled and do not <br />require pasture for feed purpose , the minimum pasture requirement <br />may be adjusted at the discretion of the Council. Such minimum <br />pasture acreage shall not include low lying lands unusable for <br />pasture or arazing. Any person keeping ::uch animals must comply <br />with the provisions of the City Code. <br />
