CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3 6 6 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING <br />A METES AND BOUNDS <br />SUBDIVISION OF A LOT LINE REARRANGEMENT <br />OF PROPERTIES LOCATED AT <br />4665 AND 46:XX BAYSIDE ROAD <br />FILE NO. 2064 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Mi1mesota; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono (hereinafter "City Council") h2.s <br />adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the <br />City; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision of a <br />lot line remTangement by Irvin T. Geffre and Robert S. Olson (hereinafter "the subdividers") of <br />properties legally described as follov-,rs: <br />Lot 1, Block 2 and Outlots A, B, C and D, Bayview Farms Second Addition, Hennepin <br />County, Minnesota (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />·wHEREAS, the suhdividers have completed all requirements of the City for a metes <br />and bounds subdivision of a lot line rearrangement for division and combination purposes, resuiting <br />in the relocation of the common boundary between said Lot 1 and Outlot C; and <br />·wnEREAS, the subdividers have granted new drainage and utility easements along <br />the new lot line, allowing.a portion of the existing and no longer needed drainage and utility <br />easements to be vacated; and <br />,vHEREAS, the applicants have executed the appropriate Oversize Accessory <br />Structure Covenant to allow an existing 40'x60' shed to remain within the property boundaries of <br />Parcel A (as described on the Certificate of Survey dated May 22, 1995, revised November 8, 1995) <br />encompassing 2.56 acres, where a 6.01 acre minimum lot size would normally be required for new <br />construction of a shed of this size; and <br />Page 1 of 3
