Bill Fenholt responded to Questions from the Board. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Lucie Taylor, the proposed Comparable <br />Worth Study was accepted by the Board. <br />The Board commended Bill Fenholt and the Comparable Worth committee for the <br />amount of work and the excellence ,of the report. <br />Jim Seite, reported to the Board that there is cracking of the second applica- <br />tion of insulation to the west wall of the high school. Corrective procedures <br />will take place next spring as the noise level is too disruptive when school is <br />in session. <br />UPON MGTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Jim Franklin, approval was granted to <br />extend the early childhood handicapped program froa, one half to ful3 time. <br />Bill Fenholt informed the Board that Jeff Walton, Mayo~ of Maple Plain, had con- <br />tacted him regarding the intent of the Orono School Board to cooperate with <br />Maple Plain in the joint development of its land for recreational purposes. The <br />Board's contribution would be considered a reimbursement to Maple Plain for the <br />labor and materials provided by the community in the development of recreational <br />facilities on the school grounds, Kitty Crosby and Jim Franklin will represent <br />the Board for any discussions with Maple Plain in this regard and will report <br />back to the Board. <br />UPON MOTION by Kitty Crosby, seconded by Lucie Taylor, the bills as covered by <br />vouchers Oa9369 through 049431 and 049073 through 049160 were approved as <br />presented. <br />UPON MOTION by Jim Franklin, seconded by Lucie Taylor, the meeting was <br />adjourned. <br />Ka h t ine P. rosby, Clerk <br />Approved: <br />1 <br />ave McKown, thairman <br />
