PAGE 5 <br />#977 JIM WERNER <br />1408 BALDUR PARK ROAD <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #1878 <br />Jim Werner was present for this matter. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request for <br />side setback, average setback, and hardcover variances to <br />construct additions to the front and rear of the house. <br />Councilmember Frahm stated that he felt letters of approval <br />should be submitted from the neighborE when sight is being <br />enfringed upon. <br />It was noted that Planning Commission recommended approval <br />subject to no increase in hardcover above the existing 36.5% <br />mark because there are sufficent areas of rock beds that can <br />• ode non -hardcover ds a tradeoff. <br />is moved by Mayor Bkitler, seconded by Councilmember <br />:.•akerel, to adopt Resolution 0 78 approving the side <br />setback and average se,.back vu ances subject to the <br />following prior to issuance of the building permit: <br />1) letters of approval from both effected neighbors <br />2) staff being satisfied with th- hardcover trade-offs <br />3) applicant to supply a consistent sk-t of building plans <br />Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />Mr. Werner took this moment to publicly commend Assistan <br />Zoning Administrator Gaffron on his good work in this matter. <br />#978 MIrHAEL MCENENY <br />2497 - 2503 KELLY AVENUE <br />VARIANCE <br />RESOLUTION #1879 <br />Michael McF.neny was present representing the Navarre Cove <br />Homeowners Association. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson explained the request to <br />construct a 2-112 car garage on Uutlot A (a lot without a <br />principal structure)for use by the Navarre Cove Homeowners <br />Association. <br />Assistant Zoning Administrator Gaffron noted an additional <br />condition to the proposed resolution stating that the <br />"Building permit for the garage will be issued only to the <br />Navarre Cove Homeowner IsAssociation as"property owner"and <br />their agent as "builder", only upon receipt of a resolution <br />of approval of the garage from said Association, signed by <br />the members of said Association". <br />it was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Hammerel, to adopt Resolution #1879 approving <br />the variance. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />
