PARK COMMISSION MINUTES <br />Meeting, October 15, 1985 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Barbara Peterson <br />Bob Kost <br />Phil Bradley <br />Terry Morse <br />Mariann Kienzler <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Virginia Sweatt <br />Les Kelley <br />Lee Erger <br />Meeting: Discussion regarding the future of the ORONO GOLF <br />COURSE - private ownership o.- public? <br />Before the PARK COMMISSION could make a recommendation <br />to the Council, we felt there was vital information needed. <br />Questions which were asked are: <br />1. What are the expenses b incom:: for the last 5 years. <br />2. Copy of the deed and/or agreement when property <br />obtained by the City. <br />3. What was original purchase price? <br />4. What is its current appraised value? <br />5. Were public bonds issued at time of sale? Are any <br />bonds outstanding or is the property "free 6 clear"? <br />6. Is the Comprehensive Land Use Plan being following? <br />7. Who actually has jurisdiction of the Golf Course - <br />the Park Commission? <br />The members of the Commission would like to obtain <br />copies of the Comprehensive Land Use manual. <br />Meetinq adjourned at 9 p.m. <br />
