MEETING HELD OCTOBER 7, 1985 PAGE 2 <br />ORDINANCE LIMITING DEVELOPMENT continued <br />CONSFNT AGENDA* <br />City Administrator Bernhardsori advised that, the-rdinance <br />does provide for a variance procedure and lists the i:ecessary <br />findings. <br />Diane Schumacher, Maple Plain, arrived late for. this Public <br />Hearing but Council gave her the opportunity to be heard. <br />Ms. Schumacher stated that she is interested in a parcel on <br />tie eastside of Long Lake south of Hwy. 12 to build a home in <br />addition to operating a commF�rcial kennel. She requested <br />the Councils' consideration of such a commercial application <br />when doing the study of the area. Given that the ordinance had <br />a variance procedure, she requested that if her property was <br />included, she be given consideration for development once <br />the study had reached the appropriate stage. <br />It was moved by 1ouncilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Counci lmember Grabek, to approve the Consent Agenda* subject <br />to removing item M4, Minutes of the September 23, 1985 <br />regular Council meeting. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />SPECIAL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 18, 1985* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Frahm, seconded by <br />Councilmember Grabek, to approve the Minutes of the Special <br />Meeting of: September 18, 1985 as submitted. Motion, Ayes 4, <br />Nays 0. <br />REGULAR MEETING OF SBP'TEMBER 23, 1985 <br />It was moved by Mayor Butler, seconded by Councilmember <br />Hammerel, to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of <br />September 23, 1985 amending them to include an insert sheet <br />(per attached copy) regarding the interim Compensation <br />Study.
