Public Safety Issues - if dock is constructed per LMCD standards <br />and dock use is controlled per City's guidelines there is no public <br />safety problem. <br />6. Interference_ With Use of_Publi c Property - the dock will not be <br />connected to shoreline. There will be no structures located within <br />dry portion of right-of-way. Pedestrian access only to dock. City <br />Engineer has confirmed that 6 feet of 8 1/2 feet of dry shoulder area <br />is needed for adequate maintenance. <br />The Pianning Commission suggests the following conditions of approval: <br />I. Applicant execute hold harmless agreement. <br />2. Dock to be constructed per LMCD standards. <br />3. City will not allow any portion of structure within dry shoulder <br />area of right-of-way. <br />4. Pedestrian access to dock allowed - no parking of vehicles within <br />the right-of-way. <br />5. Applicant is placed on notice that dock is temporary and may have <br />to be moved at some future (late if City plans widening of roadway. <br />
