Conn<,� 'Nlee�,rrJ al <br />TO: Mayor and City Council tt, <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrato A` � <br />DATE: September 23, 1985 <br />SUBJECT: Crystal Bay Appeals Status <br />The following is information provided by Kathleen Blatz regarding <br />Crystal Bay appeals to this point. <br />LAWSUIT <br />At pre-ent 75 of the 78 lawsuits have been combined <br />(not consolidated) as a means to expedite the judicial process <br />and yet treat each case individually based on the individual <br />facts. These suits have all gone to Judge Chester Durda and a <br />pre-trial to date has not been set. <br />APPRAISERS <br />Quotations have been received from two appraisers and a third one <br />is presently submitting an appraisal. It is anticipated that an <br />appraiser will be appointed within the next few weeks. (The <br />three appraisers that are being reviewed are Peter Patchin, Mr. <br />Farrel and Mr. Warner from Wayzata.) <br />
