In the past this has traditionally been an <br />appointment by a Council member and that JoEllen Hurr was a <br />Council member at the time she was appointed to her three year <br />term. <br />The LMCC) between the appropriate committees, where much of the <br />work is done,together with the regular monthly meeting, consistently <br />have 4 meetings a month and if there is a public hearing there is <br />possibly a 5th meeting. <br />As evidenced in her letter to the Counci 1 last month, JoEl len <br />continues to have a very active interest and desire to be <br />reappointed to the LMCD position and feels that she can be an <br />effective representative for Orono through the work she has done <br />with the LMCD. <br />
