Bernhardson, City Administratoil°'"-u <br />Date: August 21, 1985 <br />Subjects Temporary Patrol Officers <br />Due to a specific law that addresses a Sheriff's Department <br />providing either individual or total services on a contract basis <br />to a community, it will be required that we pass resolutions <br />entering into a Joint Powers Agreement for the limited duration <br />for this assignment. <br />It is recommended th '. the Council pass a resolution <br />permitting establishment o such a Joint Powers Arrangement. <br />Since this requirement was only realized in review by the County <br />Attorney yesterday, we are presently having language drafted <br />regarding it.
