This charge, we are <br />told, would be multiplied by 19 units because we plan on twenty wash- <br />ing machines, the charge would amount to $25,555.00. This terribly <br />exorbitant fee will stop us from going into a business of our own. <br />Mr. Gould has been building launderettes and cleaning stores for <br />over 27 years and he told us that he has never found,a city that had <br />this kind of a charge. <br />We respectively request that you try to get us on the agenda of <br />August 12, 1985, council meetinq, so we may plea before council for <br />relief or waive of this charge. <br />The store space is now vacant in the building we plan to go into and <br />in order to "hold" this space open for us, we have been paying rent <br />until the permits and arrangements are approved so time is very <br />important to us. <br />We would sincerely appreciate any help and relief you can give us. <br />Yours truly, <br />
