Bernhardson asked if Council would <br />prefer to see c..ly those applications involving alive trees <br />and the dea trees can staff can handle. <br />Councilmember L. Adams moved, Mayor Butler seconded, to <br />direct staff to prepare a modi f ica'_ ion of the tree removal <br />ordinance to ref lect strf'- reco cnendation in Alternate A <br />and for staff to determ oropriate fees. Motion, Ayes <br />(5), Nays (0). <br />City Administrator B, -dson asked if Council has a <br />problem with canvas structui s being constructed over a dock <br />requires a separate setback. <br />Mayor Butler noted that the dock must meet a setback and a <br />separate setback is not needed because the canvas structure <br />is usually placed over the clock. <br />City Administrator Bernhardson asked Counci I x'u address the <br />issue of lakeshore fertilization. bernhardson noted that <br />staff will get a re:: funsu f r c m Dr .
