NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENTS FOR SANTIARY SEWER PROJECT 85-2 <br />ART CENTER OF MINNESOTA <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Orono, Hennepin <br />County, Minnesota will meet at 7:00 P.M. or, Monday, July 8, 1985, <br />in the Council Chambers at 1275 Brown Road South, to pass upon <br />the proposed special assessment foL the construction of sanitary <br />sewer extension to the Art Center of Minnesota. <br />The area to be assessed lies within the following area legally <br />described as follows: <br />The South 459 feet of the east 474.5 feet of Government Lot 5, <br />Section :0 T117 R23W and Lots 2 thru 6, Block 3, Markville <br />Addition, Section 10 T117 R23W Hennepin County, Minnesota. <br />The property owner within the above legally described area will <br />be specially assessed 100% of the project cost which amounts to <br />$9, 235.00 per unit. <br />The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection at <br />the office of the City Clerk. The total cost of the improvement <br />to be specially assessed is $905,000.00. Written or oral <br />objections will be considered at the hearing. <br />No appeal may be taken as to any amount of any assessment unless <br />a written objection signed by the affected property owner is <br />filed with the City Clerk prior to the assessment hearing or is <br />presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. If such <br />written objection is so filed, the owner may appeal an assessment <br />to Distrtict Court pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.081 <br />within 30 days after the adoption of the assessment and filing <br />such notice with the District Court within 10 days after service <br />upon the Mayor or City Clerk. <br />By order of the City Council <br />/s/ Dorothy M.
