PROGRAM <br />Pillsbury Moved, Gisvold Seconded that the 1985 Slow buoy program, SLOW <br />with the placement of a Slow buoy at the north entrance to the BUOY <br />Black Lake horseshoe channel, be approved. Motion, Ayes [13), PLACEMFNT <br />Nays [0). <br />Bauman Moved, Elam Seconded that the inspection report be accepted FLETCHER'S <br />for Lord Fletcher's broomball permit, and that the deposit be INSPECTION <br />refunded. Motion, Ayes [13), Nays [O). <br />EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE: Hurr reported that the committee reviewed COMMITTEES <br />current committee membership, making changes subject to affirmation <br />of the Board. <br />The District had been advised that the Easy Race would be held <br />Sunday morning, April 28, proceeds dedicated in part to support <br />the LMCD Save the Lake Fund. <br />The 1985 Seve the Lake Fund mailing should be read• y May 1. <br />The committee continued to discuss the 1986 annual dinner, consid- <br />ering the following suggestions: (a) have a preplanned program, <br />including slides, (b) mail notices earlier, (c) make effort to <br />attract more participation, (d) change name to Save the Lake Dinner <br />and Ball, (e) LMCD to send the invitations, (f) reduce cost, or <br />change style, (g) best right is a Wednesday or a Thursday. Dis- <br />cussion was continued. <br />EASY <br />RACE <br />SL MAILING <br />ANNUAL <br />DINNERS <br />The committee was advised that the boating DWI legislation is BOATING <br />moving rapidlv in the legislature. At the meeting with the Liquor DWI <br />Commissioner, the liquor licensing program on lakes was reviewed. LEGISLATION <br />The state will have a legal review of current regulations, and <br />the group will meet again to work -up any resulting needed proposals. <br />The committee held a preliminary discussion of the 1986 bud8%t, BUDGET <br />determining that the proposal should provide for 4% salary adjus�- <br />ments. <br />
