page 2 <br />May 23, 1985 <br />North Shore Drive Petition - No Parking <br />It is the recommendation of staff at this time that: <br />a) Council acknowledge receipt of the petition for further <br />study. <br />b) That the Police Department and neighbors work together <br />to attempt to alleviate the trespassing and disturbance <br />of the peace problems. <br />c) Staff will explore the concerns regarding pedestrian <br />l-raffic crossing and see if there are solutions that are <br />practical for all parties involved. <br />As this is a county road any posting of signs regarding parking <br />are finally up to the County Commissioners, however they <br />generally don't act on these requests without an endorsement of <br />an action from the City Council of the community affected. <br />Should you have any further questions please feel free to contact <br />me. <br />
