MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JUNE 10, 1985 PAGE. 12 <br />Acting Mayor Frahm noted that the City should condemn the <br />other two unite -if they are not planned to be served with <br />sewer, otherwise assign four units to the four dwelling units <br />on 1950 Shoreline Drive. Frahm noted that there will <br />probably be four dwelling units therefor a long time and it is <br />adjacent to a c..,mmercial property. <br />Questior._ were raised from the audience regarding past sewer <br />projects and the way they were assessed. City Administrator <br />Bernhardson answered such questions, and discussion <br />continued among Councilmembers. <br />Councilmember L. Adams moved, Acting Mayor Frahm seconded, <br />to approve the assignment of five units to the City <br />properties. Motion, Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />Councilmember T. Adams moved, Acting Mayor Frahm sec *.ed, <br />to assign two sewer units to Sailors World (1 for retail <br />operation and 1 for pump out building) . Motion, Ayes ( 4) , <br />Nays (0). <br />Acting Mayor Frahm moved, Councilmember T. Adams seconded, <br />to adopt Resoluton #1778, A Resolution assigning one sewer <br />unit to Tonka Transmission, subject to staff revisions as <br />discussed. Motion, Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />Councilmember L. Adams moved, Councilmember Grabek <br />.econded, to direct staff to draft a resolution assigning <br />four sewer units to 1950 Shoreline Drive. Motion, Ayes (4), <br />Nays (0). <br />PAYP=T SCHR ILE ON ASSESSMENTS <br />PROJECT 85•-1 i 85-2 <br />City Administrator Bernhardson reviewed the payment <br />schedule for the Crystal Bay sewer project. Bernhardson <br />recommended that the equal principal with varying interest <br />rates be adopted for easier accounting purposes. <br />Councilmember Grabek moved, Councilmember T. Adams <br />seconded, to adopt the equal principal and varying interest <br />rate payment schedule on the Crystal Bay Sewer Project. <br />Motion, Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />SET INTEREST RATE FOR <br />SEWER PROJECT City Administrator Bernhardson noted that the bond rates <br />awarded wer^7.9156% and that staffrecommends approxim.tely <br />1.25% to be added for admi rat ive charges. Bernhardson <br />recommended that. the inr t rate be set at 9.2%. <br />Acting Mayor Frahm moored, Councilmember L. Adams seconded, <br />to adopt the interest rate Of 9.2% for the Crystal Bay sewer <br />project. Motion, Ayes (4), Nays (0). <br />
