Jim Seiter informed the Board of the personnel changes that will be taking place <br />for the 1985-86 school year. <br />Bill Fenholt presented the Board with information regarding a meeting held with <br />Woods Academy on May 2, 1985. <br />UPON MOTION by Bill Levering, seconded by Reuben Palm, the Board approved the <br />extension of the lunch service to Woods Academy on a trial basis for the 1985-86 <br />school year. <br />Bill Fenholt informed the Board that a meeting with teacher negotiators <br />regarding negotiation procedures and schedules will be held on May 22, 1985. <br />Mr. Fenholt also stated that the secretarial request had been received and a <br />meeting date would be set in the near future. <br />UPON MOTION by Bill Levering, seconded by Reuben Palm, the Board approved th, <br />recommendation of the administration for the removal of blacktop over the entire <br />area south of a line extending perpendicular from the mid -point (entrance) to <br />the tennis courts at the middle school. This area will be replaced with <br />grass, thus eliminating a costly and continuous maintenance problem. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the CAPS program at the middle school. Various <br />Board members expressed concern about the way CAPS is being administered by the <br />staff. Mr. Seiter will convey these concerns to Warren Nelson and this program <br />will be placed on the agenda at a future Board meeting for discussion. <br />UPON MOTION BY Bill Levering, seconded by Reuben Palm, the bills as covered by <br />vouchers 047562 through 047677 and 046954 through 047057 were approved as <br />presented. <br />UPON MOTION by Don Anderson, seconded by Bill Levering, the Treasurer's Report <br />for April, 1985 was approved as presented. <br />UPON MOTION by Reuben Palm, seconded by Bill Levering, the meeting was <br />adjourned.
