We believe that Spring Hill's activities are making a <br />valuable contribution to the community, the Twin Cities metropolitan area, the <br />Upper Midwest region and the nation. Last year for, example, we sponsored, <br />co -sponsored or subsidized 74 of the 333 meetings held at Spring Hill. <br />Revenue foregone in 1984 due to lower fees charged to not -for -profit clients <br />totaled $160,186. <br />We are grateful for the assistance we receive throughout the year from the <br />City of Orono. You will note that our 1985 payment is an 83.5% increase over <br />our 1984 payment. While we offer the increased voluntary payment in recog- <br />nition of our expanded facilities, we wish to emphasize that such payments are <br />voluntary and discretionary. <br />I. hope you will join me for lunch at Spring Hill in the near future. <br />Cordially, <br />James A.
