COUNCIL PEETING <br />12 <br />TO: Mayor and City Cou cil. <br />FROM: Mark Bernhardson P- <br />DATE: June 20, 1985 <br />SUBIECT: West Hennepin Human Services Board Appointment <br />As you wi 11 reca11 at the meeting on May 13, 1985, the City of <br />Orono had received correspondence requesting appointment of its <br />two representatives to the West Hennepin Board. Following adver- <br />tisement in the paper we have had three candidates who have <br />expressed interest and whose letters are attached. We have <br />contacted the West Hennepin Board and they have indicated that we <br />may appoint two representatives and an alternate, and that the <br />alternate can vote any time one of the two primary members is not <br />there. We have approached each of the candidates to see if they <br />have a preference and if such will indicate to you on Monday <br />evening.
