C ; W>" STING
To: Orono Council Members
From: Jeanne A. Mabusth, Zoning Administrator
Date: May 29, 1985
Subject: #916 Gary W. Krimme! 6 Bruce W. Engelsma,
960 6 990 Partenwood Road -
Subdivision of a Lot Line Rearrangement
Zoning District - LR-lB - Minimum lot size regri:-ed 1 acre
Total Area - 2.35 Acres
Application - Subdivision - plat required because property is
torrens or registered
Applicants seek a rearrangement of their shared lot line so
that existing improvements on each lot are located within their
respective homestead lot. Proposed Lot 2 has maintained the
required lot width along the lakeshore at 148.58'. The dock has
not been designated, but applicant was advised that existing dock
on Lot 2 meets all required setbacks from extended side lot
lines. The areas of both lots have not been diminished but
maintained at 1 acre minimum. The only unfortunate aspect about
the application is that the owners had to pay the additional
costs of a plat.
Planning Commission recommends approval of the proposed plat
of a lot line rearrangement for G.W. Krimmel and Bruce W.
Engelsma based on the following findings:
1. The lots each contain the minimum required 1 acre in
area.
2. All existing structures meet the required setbacks from
the newly created lot line.
