TO: Dick Benson, Acting Administrator
FROM: Mike Scheller, Building Inspector
DATE: August 8, 1974
SUBJECT: Variance, Erling Falk - 1981 Fagerness Point Road
Erling Falk, 1981 Fagerness Point Road has made application for a variance
to glace an addition to his house with the same front setback as his
present non -conforming residence, namely, 81. This will consist of a
two -stall garage with a room over it.
His hardship is the need for a garage. He was denied a permit to
place one across the street. Due to the fact his house is constructed
in a steep bank and there is no practical way to reach the rear of the
property, this is the only logical place to set a garage, because:
1. He has a need for a garage.
2. He is limiters to this area to place a garage.
3. Fagerness Road deadends three residences past his house.
4.. Most garages in the immediate area are built into the bank, the same
as his.
I would recommend he be granted a variance.
