O O <br /> ti <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> �kESK� NO. 4 7 1 3 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 10.20, SUBDIVISION 5 (B) <br /> FILE NO. 01-2727 <br /> WHEREAS,Joseph A. King and Mary M. King, (hereinafter "the applicants") are <br /> the owners of the property located at 142 Chevy Chase Drive within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> "the City") and legally described as follows: <br /> Lot 10 and the South half of Lot 9, Block 2, Hill O'Way Manor, Hennepin County, <br /> Minnesota(hereinafter"the property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants have applied to the City for variances to Municipal <br /> Zoning Code Section 10.20, Subdivision 5 (B)to permit new residential construction on a lot that <br /> is 29,250 s.f. in area where 43,560 s.f. is required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on October 15, 2001, at which time all persons desiring to be <br /> heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#01-2727. <br /> 2. The property is located in the R-lA Zoning District,where 43,560 s.f.or 1 acre is the <br /> minimum required lot area. The property consists of approximately 29,250 s.f.or.67 <br /> acres. <br /> 3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on October 15,2001 and <br /> recommended approval of the proposed variances based upon the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 6 <br />
