MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />QUALITY OF WATER QUALITY OF LIFE <br />Memo <br />To: Melissa Barrett , Kjolhaug Environmental Services Company <br />From: Catherine Bach, Minnehaha Creek Watershed District <br />CC: Bob Molstad , Sathre-Berquist, Inc . <br />Bill Coffman <br />Date: January 17, 2013 <br />Re: Wetland Functional Assessment (MnRAM) for PIO #0611723220018 (Wachman Parcel) <br />An application for approval of wetland boundary & type under the Minneso ta Wetland Conservation Act <br />was submitted to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (District) on October 22, 2012 for the <br />Wa chman parcel (PID #0611723220018), which is located just so uth of 4665 & 4645 Bayside Road in the <br />city of Orono. One wetland was determined to be on the property and is shown on the attached survey . <br />A wetland functional assess ment using the current version of the Minnesota Routine Asse ss ment <br />M ethod (MnRAM 3 .4) was submitted on January 3, 2013 for approval. The functional assessment is <br />contained in the attached memo. In the District's Function al Assessment of Wetlands inventory, the <br />wetland is currently classified as Preserve. <br />The wetland was classified as Manage 2 as a result of the functiona l assessment, and the District concurs <br />with this classification. This memo serves as formal approval of the manage m e nt classification of the <br />wetland as M anage 2 for MCWD permitting requirements . <br />Enclosed: Memo containing functional assessment <br />Survey showing wetland boundary
