Adams stated that the nursery/landscape <br />business is a classic example to use for that type of quasi - <br />commercial use. <br />Councilmember Grabek felt that any planning should include <br />the fact that I-394 will be Highway 12 in the future. <br />John Shardlow stated that he has much of the information on <br />the I-394 project and could include that in any planning he <br />does.- Shardlow stated that he will prepare a draft proposal <br />and bring it back to Council for their consideration. <br />RESOLUTION f1746 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM* <br />Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember L. Adams seconded, to <br />adopt Resolution #1746, A Resolution approving proposed <br />program for Year XI Urban Hennepin County Community <br />Development Block Grant Funds and authorizing its submittal. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />PAYMENT UTILITY TRACTOR <br />b SIDE MOUNT MOWER* <br />Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember L. Adams seconded, to <br />approve the payment in the amount of $19,280.82 to Kortuem <br />Sales and Service for a utility tractor and side -mount mower. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />REQUEST FOR FUNDS <br />WESTONKA SENIOR CITIZENS <br />Councilmember Frahm mo---ed, Councilmember L. Adams seconded, <br />to commit the funds for the Westonka Senior Citizens. <br />Motion, Ayes (5), Nays (0). <br />FINANCING CRYSTAL <br />BAY IMPROVEMENTS Finance Director Kuehn reviewed with the Council the <br />financing for the pr--osed Crystal Bay improvements. <br />PROPERTY FOR SALE <br />LOT 7, BLOCK 6 <br />NAVARRE HEIGHTS Public Works Coordinator. Gerhardson explained that there is <br />property for sale (I.ot 7, Block 6, Navarre Heights) which is <br />adjacent to the Navarre parking tot at the west end. <br />Gerhardson stated that if the City was to acquire the lot and <br />certain improvements were made, it would be easier to <br />maintain parts of the parking lot. <br />Councilmember Grabek moved, Councilmember Frahm seconded, <br />to direct staff to see if the owner will donate the land to the <br />Orono Park C mission.
